Mission

Our network exists to equip pastors to plant, grow, & multiply healthy churches. We do this through a process we call our church planting residency. This is where we bring in a potential church planter, train and develop them as a leader, teach them everything we know about planting a church, and send them out with funding and a church planting team to help them launch the new church plant.

Meet Jamie and Autumn Fullington!

We are the Fullingtons. I currently serve Connection Church Athens as Discipleship and College Pastor alongside my wife Autumn and our 3 awesome kids AJ, Mary Ellen, and Wren. Our first interaction with the Connection Network was way back in 2012 while Autumn and I were both in college at Georgia Southern University where we saw the benefits of genuine, biblical community first-hand. Upon graduating from College we both moved back to the Athens, Ga area and got married shortly after. When Connection Church Athens was planted in 2020, we were excited to come on board with the launch team and be a part of a Bible-rooted and gospel-centered church in the Athens area. After both Autumn and I served the church in a variety of roles, in July of 2023, I left my sales job to come on staff full time at Connection Church Athens.

Our desire is that our family would be an authentic reflection of Christ wherever we go. We believe strongly that the best way to impact our city and play our role in God’s global mission is by targeting specific communities around Athens by multiplying disciples, Connect Groups, and churches in our area. Autumn and I both grew up in the Oconee county area, and we are excited to plant a Connection Church in a place that means so much to our family. We trust that God goes before us and has prepared ministry work for us to do in a rapidly growing area of NE Georgia. We are extremely thankful to the people and leadership of Connection Church Athens, as well as many others, who God has used to help shape and equip us for this next step. We are grateful to those who have so graciously supported us by sending us out to make an impact for God’s kingdom. Church Planting Residency

The church-planting residency is a great opportunity to be trained & developed to plant a healthy and well organized gospel centered church. The residency is broken into two equal parts: Church plant training & Hand-on ministry experience. Whether you are exploring church planting for the first time or are experienced, we would love to meet you and help partner together to plant 50 churches by 2050!
